About me...
Jim Becker (aka Beckerjim) is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer who played in several bands through the 70's and 80's, including Street Child and The Rod Wilvanbec Band before moving to Los Angeles in 1984 and soon formed The Barnburners of Los Angeles - a trio that performed for three years on the Sunset Strip and several larger venues in Los Angeles before disbanding in 1989. With the exception of a short rebirth of the Barnburners in 1992, Jim took time from the music scene to provide for his family. In 2007, Jim released his first solo album "Attack of the Panic Button". Since then, Jim has produced Jamie's album and released 5 solo albums: "Living Black'n White", "Unprotected", "Experimental Echoes", "Gathering Formation", and "Testosterone" as well as re-releasing The Barnburners of Los Angeles album "Wish You Blue". Jim is currently working on yet another album, which he calls his most intense and powerful yet.

Jim is also art of The Beckers - A Father Daughter Duo. This is the musical endeavor Jim and Jamie started by performing at coffee shops in Whittier in early 2007. They gradually branched out into such venues as the Orange County Fair, The California Music Fest, and the California State Fair at Cal Expo in addition to performing at high profile clubs in Hollywood, Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Anaheim. Their first single "Pick Me Up" was released in July 2010 and they are currently working on their debut album, tentatively titled "Face The Music".

Jamie Becker is a 15 year old singer, songwriter, musician, and performer who released her first album, "Ladybug" in January 2010. Jamie plays the drums, guitar, piano, and violin and has a passion for creating interesting melodies and honest lyrics as she develops her own style and sound. She carries a notepad almost everywhere she goes to capture song ideas for her next album. She loves all kinds of music spanning 50 years and will be the first to tell you that she does not use any technology to 'fix' her vocals... ever!
